VISA and Currency Information

Important note about currency:

The Indian Government has demonetized 500 & 1000 INR currency notes from Novermber 11, 2016, and will henceforth not be in circulation or accepted anywhere. There is no ban on currency notes of INR 100 and below. Plastic money in the form of Credit Cards and Debit cards will continue to be used as usual and should be the preferred mode of transaction. This is just for your information.

Visa information:

All foreign nationals entering India are required to possess a valid international travel document in the form of a national passport with a valid visa obtained from an Indian Mission or Post abroad. All Individual visa seekers are requested to apply for the Indian Visa through Online application link , in order to make an application for getting the Indian visa.

e-Tourist Visa Facility is available for nationals of following countries/territories:
